In addition to YouTube and this website I’ve started a BTECPE podcast. This serves as another means of revision and is even more accessible than YouTube because you can listen whilst doing other things.
These are short podcast episodes with most of them coming in around the 5-minute mark. I will be detailing the essential information you need to know for the BTEC first in sport Unit 1 exam as well as including relevant sporting examples on a weekly basis.
The main benefit with this is you can listen to a podcast episode at any time. You can make it part of your morning routine, travelling to or from school, just before completing your homework or even better when your exercising.
The best way to use these podcasts are to use them regularly leading up to your Unit 1 exam and to use in parallel with my YouTube channel and your own notes. You will learn and understand the content more effectively if you do it gradually instead of cramming at the last minute.
I will be aiming to do a weekly sports review show that will look at the sporting news from that week and explain how BTECPE concepts and principles are applied by those sports performers, teams or coaches.
